Juan Lorenzo Martínez is the founder and partner-in-charge of Juan Lorenzo Martínez & Associates (JLMA). Dr. Martínez has more than thirty years of experience in Management Consulting. Prior to establishing JLMA, he worked in the Auditing, Taxes and Consulting Department of KPMG Peat Marwick.

He is an Accounting Professor in the School of Business Administration of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) at Río Piedras Campus. He was the former Assistant Dean of the UPR School of Business Administration and Assistant to the Chancellor at Río Piedras Campus.

He was the former president of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants and former president of the Board of Director of the Puerto Rico Education and Rehabilitation Society (‘SER de PR’).

His educational background includes a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and Computer Information Systems (Magna Cum Laude), a Juris Doctor (Cum Laude), and an A.B.D. doctoral students at New York University.

Juan Lorenzo Martínez is a Lawyer admitted to the practice of Law in Puerto Rico, Federal District Court and Federal Court for Appeals for the First Circuit.
